    Alano Recovery Homes

    About us

Our recovery homes are run by other recovering alcoholics.  We are so grateful to be sober and living the good life that we want to give it to you.  We do this for almost nothing because we believe in it.  If you want what we have we'll show you how we got it.  There is no time limit on how long you can stay.  You didn't get this way overnight, and you're not going to change overnight either.

    We Believe in "Slowbriety"

We are not a facility, but a home.  We don't baby-sit you, you are adults.  But we do love you until you can learn to love yourself.

Cost: $375 per month for a room; this covers rent and utilities.  We furnish the cooking facilities and you feed yourself.

We have one AA meeting on-site and one house meeting weekly.  During your first 90 days you must attend one 12-Step meeting per day.

You must find a sponsor and work the steps with that sponsor.

Curfew is 10:30 pm during the week and 12:30 am on the weekends.

After 30 days you will be eligible to have an overnight pass.  This is at the discretion of your house manager, and only if your are caught up on your rent.

We encourage your sponsor and family to visit you at the home, but only in designated areas.

Everyone is subject to random breathalyzer and urinalysis tests.

Our homes have a zero-tolerance policy for:

    1) The use of alcohol or drugs

    2) Violence, threats of violence, or intimidation

    3)Curfew

Every resident has a chore around the house to help keep their home neat and clean.

We encourage you to call one of the houses and talk to the house managers.  You can setup a time to stop by and look around.  Talk to some of the residents, listen to their experience and how the sobriety house is helping them.  Phone numbers are located here and here.
