DETOX
Many clients need detoxification from drugs or alcohol, the process of detoxification is different for each client.
The Axis residential Medical Director will provide an assessment to determine the appropriate care for each patient upon arrival. The Assessment is based on the client’s history, drug of choice, length of use, age and mental status.
The focus for Axis Resident Treatment Center is to make the detoxification as comfortable and smooth as possible for the patient so that the process of their foundation towards a new life can begin.
We detox patients from a wide variety of substances such as all forms of Opiates, Azepines, Methamphetamines, Cocaine and Alcohol as well as a variety of prescription medications and all forms of food addictions.

AFTERCARE
Discharge from Axis Residential Treatment Center is really the beginning rather than the ending. When the client is ready to reintegrate into society, the treatment team will facilitate the aftercare plan, allowing for a smooth transition and optimized long-term recovery. At Axis we understand the importance of continuing to meet the client’s needs after discharge and part of that is identifying the client and client’s family needs during the admission process.
Although the client has finished treatment, recovery is a long-term process and it is imperative that the client transitions into a sober living environment. It is also encouraged for the client to participate in the Axis Alumni programs.
