Substance Abuse Treatment Center
Substance abuse doesn't discriminate against age, gender, upbringing or class. Chances are, if you don't already know someone whose life or family has been affected by drugs or alcohol, you will.
Battling a substance abuse disorder can be an ongoing and difficult journey. Fortunately, Vanguard Services Unlimited, a 501(c) 3 treatment center is here to help.
For more than 40 years, Vanguard has been on the front lines in the treatment of drug and alcohol addiction right in our community.
Founded in 1962 in an Arlington, Virginia church basement, Vanguard is the area's leader in addiction recovery and prevention, operating inpatient and outpatient programs throughout metropolitan Washington, DC. On any given day, more than 200 adolescents and adults are enrolled in our outpatient and residential treatment programs.
