    Next Step Recovery, Inc.

    About Us

    About Our Houses

Next Step Recovery was started because of the need for a safe place
for men to go when they come out of short-term/long-term treatment. In
today's managed care, people are finding themselves having to leave
treatment facilities too soon. We are the bridge between leaving
treatment and wanting to still have a safe place to build on recovery
    skills.

Next Step Recovery requires each resident to do a phone interview
before coming. We do not take anyone who has a history of violent
crimes, sexual assault charges, or arson charges in their history. Each
potential resident must be able to submit their own criminal
background check if coming from out of state. Potential residents
must have at least 30 days clean before admission.

Each resident of Next Step Recovery, Inc. receives individual attention
while they are with us. We are a small community of 24 people with
three full-time staff. Our houses are brand new and in walking distance
to downtown Asheville and bus lines.
