"Six years ago, I did not know where my life was going. I surely believe that death was only days away. I would wake wondering what I did last night…did I hurt someone, destroy property, or steal?
Today, I woke up and my 15 month old daughter was smiling at me and my wife was cooking breakfast. I live in a safe comfortable home and I drive down the street and people wave at me. My in-laws like me…….I LIKE ME!
My job is tough but I’m good at it. I help other hurting people now and tell them about how I got sober and heard you all talk about the good things in life. I could write a half page about each of you. After all of this time, I think of you daily. I’m sending you my five-year medallion on a plaque. I would have never made it without Mirror, N.A., A.A., and fellowship." -- AP
